Early Aspirations and Career Shift
My professional journey began along a conventional path as I prepared to enter medical school. However, my trajectory changed dramatically when a summer internship at Waterford Partners, LLC, a hedge fund, evolved into a full-time position. This pivotal opportunity allowed me to channel my inherent curiosity, perseverance, and passion for learning into a new direction. It also enabled me to discover and develop additional strengths, such as strategic thinking, patience, and vision. During my tenure at Waterford, I gained valuable experience across several areas, including marketing, client services, operations, and investment analysis.
Growth and Leadership
Following my time at Waterford, I transitioned to Hillview Capital Advisors, LLC, our largest investor. Over the course of 11 years, I advanced from Director of Investment Services to Director of Marketing. In these roles, I contributed to opening the New York headquarters and played an instrumental role in increasing the firm's assets under management from $600 million to over $2 billion. Additionally, I launched a client education initiative that strengthened the firm's relationship with its clients by fostering deeper engagement and knowledge sharing.
Expanding Impact & Embracing Transformation
Beyond my corporate responsibilities, I served as Executive Director of The Wealth & Giving Forum, an organization dedicated to educating wealth holders about responsible philanthropy and social impact. In this capacity, I organized events featuring prominent speakers such as William Louis Dreyfus, Emmanuel Faber, and Howard Warren Buffet. These gatherings were designed to empower attendees to align their values with positive contributions to their communities.
My transition from aspiring medical student to wealth management advisor underscores the significance of transformation. By challenging established assumptions and redefining my personal narrative, I was able to identify new opportunities, transcend self-imposed limitations, and cultivate a meaningful and rewarding career and life.

Entrepreneurial Venture & Global Perspective
In 2015, I founded Ijeoma Consulting, LLC, leveraging my expertise in wealth management, marketing, and business strategy to advise entrepreneurs and business leaders. I partnered closely with clients, helping them address unique challenges, formulate innovative strategies, and unlock new possibilities tailored to their individual journeys.
Through extensive travel and cross-cultural experiences, I have established a global presence, collaborating with professionals in the United States, United Kingdom, and Nigeria. This work reflects my ability to navigate diverse environments while maintaining authenticity in my support for clients.
Current Focus: Coaching and Thought Partnership
Today, I continue my work as a coach for innovators and leaders, assisting them in envisioning and designing their next professional and personal chapters. I am committed to building collaborative relationships that provide clarity, highlight opportunities, and reveal the unique value within each individual. My clients regard me as a trusted thought partner who fosters a supportive environment for meaningful conversations that inspire actions aligned with their aspirations.
